Like Ron Jeremy's aspirations to be taken as a serious actor, I can imagine this dude is forced to write imaginary smut fanmail when there is a shortfall of fan correspondence for any given month. And as a means of coping with the less-than-glamorous aspects of his job, he does this as means of compensation.
